Project Description
Ogden Sweet Spot Bakery is a bakery co-owned by two best friend bakers Veronica Garcia and Lori Stowell. It opened on Sept. 20, 2013 and offers a variety of treats, from pies and brownies, to peanut butter bars and cupcakes. Sweet Spot also offers custom cakes for any occasion. The bakery does take special requests.
Over the course of Fall 2013 semester, an Ogden Peak Communications team helped the new bakery to increase local awareness by doing the following :
Strategic planning
– Performed SWOT analysis
Social media strategy
– Increased Facebook following from 250 to 550 in 3 months
– Increased Twitter following from 10 to 35
– Created social media content posts
Other promotional tactics
– Created event booklet
– Took professional product photos for promotional purposes
– Created business cards
– Created brochure
