Who is Weber Pathways?
Established in 1995, Weber Pathways is an esteemed community member and an active catalyst for the creation and preservation of trails and pathways in Weber County. Our organization is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit with a 25-person Board of Directors, and a long history of effective local and regional partnership. Our mission is to plan, promote, construct, and protect non-motorized trails and related open space in Weber County, UT. We are committed to the idea that non-motorized network of public pathways significantly contribute to our community’s economic vitality and quality of life.
What we do
Weber Pathways works with property owners and land managers to plan trail routing and provide public access. We secure funding for property and trail construction through grants, corporate support and private donation. Weber Pathways facilitates all phases of project management including coordination of pre-construction services such as environmental impact studies, and structural engineering. Weber Pathways also organizes volunteer support for construction, maintenance and guided outings. We provide a stream of trail specific information for the public through newsletters, web postings, social media and focused collateral materials. The most important resource Weber Pathways originates is a detailed map that features all of the non-motorized trails and pathways in Weber County.
How Ogden Peak Communications Can Help
Weber Pathways current donors are getting older, and so are the fundraising events that Weber Pathways hosts. Weber Pathways is concerned that they are becoming boring and repetitious, as well as burning out their loyal donors. They have come to Ogden Peak Communications for help. Including help brainstorming fresh with new ideas for events, and planning how to target a younger demographic. In the next 15 weeks Ogden Peak Communications will help plan and execute an event targeted towards the younger demographic Weber Pathways is seeking, as well as create a marketing plan including events for 2014.
Sounds like a great group. Nothing like bettering our community. Cannot wait to se what the students of WSU can do for them.
